Simple Rules

Does fashion really have limits? Isn’t it just another form of self-expression where you delineate your own boundaries and set your own standards?

Time to add some “Law&Order” to your look!

The L&O of Personal Style:
Location and Occassion

These are the major determinants of any ensemble. I’ve made sacrifices, i.e. wanting to show out in the cold, and just ended up in bed with a stuffy nose and a couple of compliments.

Use your Environment to Bolster your Style

Sometimes, you want to blend in; others, you want to stand out. The location will be the backdrop for any “accidental” photos that may be taken so you want to use that to your advantage. Certain color schemes can complement the seasons (New Yorkers especially benefit). As we step into autumn, throw on the browns, greens, yellows, oranges, and reds that the season is known for. And a pale blue never hurts.

What am I doing here?!

Events have themes so pay attention rather than trying to grab it all. You don’t want to get noticed for the wrong reasons. Whether jubilant for a celebration or slightly somber for business, remembering the reason for gathering takes precedence over forays into your own creative wilderness. You can have your adventures on your own free time.

Be reasonable and you’ll be just fine.
