Frequency and duration are often determinants of what’s enough and what’s effusive. In anything, you want to be apropos and not excessive. The latter can prove to be quite expensive. Discernment is key. Questions are the doorway to a sound assessment.
How often do you think before you speak? Do you think mostly about yourself? Do you realize the recipient is subject to that selfishness? Do you regard their responses and their right to them? Do you relay more than you receive?
