The Year in Review with Freddy Rodriguez

For Freddy Rodriguez, founder of Blue Perk and curator of the Details Style Network (among many other projects), 2013 has been quite the busy year. Next semester will see him finishing his stint in Fashion Merchandising at the Fashion Institute of Technology. So as this year comes to a close, we reflected on some of his favorite pick-ups throughout the past year.

Tank top (American Eagle Outfitters)

“During the summer, I am a huge fan of the beach and the best way to stay cool in the sun is with a fun printed tank top.”

Seersucker shorts (American Apparel)

“I actually bought these shorts a year ago and I lived in them during the sweltering hot days in the city.”

Button Down (Alen Ford)

“Having a tailored button down shirt is key to always looking sharp in a hurry.”

Black Jeans (Paige Denim)

“When in doubt, I can always default to my pair of black jeans, no matter what time of the year.”

Jacket (Members Only)

“Some pieces are timeless,  and that’s the best way I can describe my Members Only jacket. Perfect during any cool weathered day.”

Beanie (ASOS)

“My obsession started last year and carried over strong this year. It’s my signature accessory and honestly the best way to stay warm during the winter is with a beanie, be it either over-sized or fitted.”

Shoes (Vans)

“Vans have always been a favorite shoe, but these with my Hickies are an easy go to with style for any time of year.”
