Sebago® celebrates 70 Years with a new pop-up…and ice cream

Last night, Sebago® celebrated the kick-off of summer and the opening of their new pop-up store on Elizabeth Street in NoLiTa, an upcoming installment reported late last month by Footwear News. Since the introduction of their original Docksides® boat shoe, the brand has continued to embrace their New England roots while exploring new colors, and silhouettes for contemporary consumers.

“In honor of our 70th Anniversary, it felt like the right time to celebrate the heritage of our shoes, while also showcasing how far we’ve come in the last seven decades,” says Dani Zizak, Chief Marketing Officer for Sebago, “The importance and reverence of craft has been with us from the beginning and continues to inspire us to deliver the finest products for a life well crafted.”

The new pop-up features styles in footwear, apparel and bags available throughout the summer, including 70th Anniversary color updates to the iconic boat shoe, and exclusive handsewn penny loafers. Guests had their pick of craft beer tastings courtesy of Sebago Brewing Company, an oyster shucking class by Greenpoint Fish & Lobster Co., and architecturally-inspired ice cream sandwiches by Cool Haus–inspired by a more grown up version of summer camp in the northeast.

The pop-up is located at 254 Elizabeth Street and will run through August. For more information and to see the entire collection, visit
